However having given her the benefit of the doubt and having written to her, I am not sure it is actually a great PR TECHNIQUE gone awry. If she really wanted everyone to be aware and have one, she would not have made it a limited edition. People in Asia actually go hurt and trampled on. Although her response was "we did not realise how popular it would be"", it is not really a valid excuse after having the experience in the UK, followed by the US. I think corporate social responsibility is great, but until people actually take true responsibility and mean what they say, and not use it as a PR technique I think so called "corporate social responsibility" has a long way to go.
